Today was a mixed bag. Here's some marble magnets I made using last year's calendar. I also framed yesterday's embroidery piece and sketched out some potential designs for rug hooking projects.
Betsey, where did you get the magnets and marbles? We want to have a "crafts day" at work and make these, but haven't found the supplies at any local stores. Well, actually, we've only looked at Michael's so far. Let your blog readers know!
I got my marbles and magnets at Michael's. I was too lazy to look further. I got a 10 pack of 1/2 in. magnets for 1.99-look by the doll making section. The marbles I found were in the mosaic section - 25 pack for 2.29. There was a HUGE pack in the fake flower section but it was way more than I wanted. Don't forget to use their coupons for a SUPER bargain. I already had some E6000 for adhesive but you can use silicone sealant or household goop. I found directions on notmartha.org. Quick-easy-fun. My fridge looked perky this morning! I have to go to Pearls Art Supply and will check if they have them.
